This show was much better as a MacFarlane-esque comedy. When it does the “homage” to Trek it’s just literally Trek; for 3/4 of the episodes I can find you a 1:1 comparison to an episode of TNG/DS9/VOY. I get it’s basically comfort food for the folk who don’t like Disco, but it just seems super fan-filmy.

Hades or Tushima should have won, easily. I can see a few technical awards for TLOU2, but it was not worth this breathless admiration it’s getting. It definitely should have gotten the music award though!

I really liked Genre! I’m not a drug guy, but movies and music are my two favorite things so it fascinated me to watch. I’m not buying all the theories that Hale is inhabited by Angela, Armistice, etc. Those aren’t characters that would mean anything to anyone with this big of a lead up. If it was going to be one of those tertiary characters, I think they would have told us already who’s inside.
