I saw this yesterday even though I’m not fully versed in the F&F franchise. My only thought on the way out: did they have a contract drawn up where they demanded half the movie would take place where Statham’s from and the other half where Johnson is from? It was so bizarre.
In the old EU before the Great Purge, the Mandalorians had a business forging/selling beskaar material that was resistant to blasters and lightsabers. There was also cortosis floating around that could withstand saber hits. At some point I guess it was inevitable, because an all-powerful weapon is boring in most…
Cap’s bench is at the Avenger’s compound, not Tony’s cabin. You can see cranes and crews in the background trying to rebuild it while Hulk is talking.
I mean, the MagnaGuard staffs that every staff after has seemed to be based on did fairly well against the sabers.
I’m horrified to investigate how common this is, because the exact same scenario happened to my dad when he was a paramedic. Call about a leaky substance above a Chinese restaurant, they broke down the apartment door when no one answered and they smelled “death”, and there was a guy who was clearly gone for almost…
I freakin’ loved this game. I worked at EB Games and my boss was my best friend, so he let me break street on it for myself since he knew how Star Wars obsessed I am. I played the bejeesus out of it. No would play the multiplayer battles with me because I couldn’t lose though. :-(
I think the sign of a decent person is not the positions they hold but if they’re willing to listen and change based on the input of others. She was super duper wrong to go with Georgiou last season, and she listened when Burnham screamed that in her face. She underestimated how gnarly Section 31 got beneath the…
They were pretty surrounded so them holding their ground to slug it out made more sense than normal. There were a few good shots of them maneuvering but I don’t think they had many places to go.
That would be amazing! I really hope so.
This episode almost made me take a Xanax. It was insane! It’s easily the most gorgeous visuals in a single episode we’ve ever seen. The massive fight, the squads of shuttles and pods, the alien allies - everything added up to something that was such a blast to watch.
I liked the pacing of this episode! It was a nice and steady change from the frantic storytelling of last week.
Of COURSE they are. They found out I finally got one 3 months ago.
Man the story is coo-coo bananas. I love it. This episode was PACKED but I think it ‘trimmed the fat’ in a way that’s going to make for a cleaner exit. Shame they couldn’t have spread it out a bit though.
I realize they’re probably hedging their bets with runtime for when an eventual syndication run comes, but I really wish they’d make the episodes longer! This one could have used some extra time.
Did they only remaster the visuals? No updating of control styles or anything else? I started with Dark Souls 3, and when I tried to jump back to the others I found them almost unplayably slow-moving and clunky.
I’ve been super lucky to have a dad that’s always played games with me and my siblings. We have pictures somewhere of him playing the NES right after it came out with me standing right next to him with one hand on the controller. The NES shifted into early PC games (Command & Conquer and Lucasarts mainly), and then…
