For the last time, Allan Sherman, the AV Club is neither your muddah nor your fodder.
Worst case scenario is they throw you against the wall, rip open your shirt and ask “You wearin’ a wire, narc?!”
The Deuce is a legit great show. I don’t think he’s a standout or doing more than a just-good-enough job.
He’s in ads for Levi’s, The Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy, Jordache, Guess, Z Cavaricci, Dockers, Lee, Wrangler, Diesel, Calvin Klein, Dickies, Haggar and Farah Slacks. What can I say, the guy knows pants.

I heard they’re gonna hang dong.
Most of this happened in the 2000s and early to mid 2010s. He should get a pass, it was a very different time.
I do think it’s a generational thing... A lot of Gen X-era humor and comedy was about saying really awful and inappropriate things ironically.
Dexter.
The first one has its charms. It’s Chevy Chase’s last movie before the complete charisma removal leaving nothing but awkwardness behind.
I’m starting to wonder if these last-minute saves are planned months in advance for maximum publicity.
