Alicia, do you have issues with Mint duplicating your Chase accounts? I’ve been through it over and over with Mint, and each time it’s only a brief fix, but it never holds long term. I used to be on Mint every single day, but this bug has gotten me to the point where I log in less than once per week.

Being able to set the thermostat to 65 in the winter would be a dream come true. Setting it to 62...it’s like you’re talking dirty to me...

Kristin, are the monthly financial challenges on hiatus, or did I miss both so far for 2018?

Still no luck, unfortunately.

Assassin’s Creed: Origins is 30% off on Steam ($41.99 for standard edition & $69.99 for gold edition) if you’re looking for it on the PC instead of console.

I used to use Digit until the fee came into play; now I use Qapital. It has an option to round up all of your transactions to the next dollar and then moves that money to your Qapital account. You can set up other goals or savings intervals as well. There isn’t the random calculated savings like Digit had, but it’s

Last November I had around $1200 left in my FSA, and we’re only allowed to roll over $500 each year. I had planned for needing surgery on my arm in 2016, but ended up not needing it. I hurt my back in August, and as a result was in pain when I would sit for an extended period of time. My doctor wrote a prescription

I’ve been hosting a Friendsgiving every year since I was in college, and it’s undoubtedly one of my favorite days of the year. We do it one or two Saturdays before Thanksgiving week, so that our friends can still travel as needed, and since it’s on a Saturday, our out of town friends can still make it too, and we

You can still do that.

Yes, I pay about $1000 per year toward a new phone. But then I re-sell it at the end of the year for a net loss in the neighborhood of $300ish, and use that money toward a new phone. So it puts me on pretty much the same footing as those who lease their phones for around $300/year.

3D Touch should bring up a list of Bluetooth devices/WiFi networks for the user to select from, along with an option to disconnect.

To really get the most out of it, Apple needs to allow users to customize the colors for mark up. The ones from iOS 10's Markup were far more distinct and would stand out on almost any image. These have a tendency to fade into the background and not really be distinguishable.

If you use an Apple TV you’ll see none of them, because apparently Amazon just can’t get their damned app out.

I came across Blake’s El Chavo at Columbus Beerfest earlier this year and since then it’s become my go-to cider. The slow after burn is just the right amount or spice. Amazing cider.

Who the fuck is “Scott Quinn”? I think you’re referring to “Bob Quinn”

I’ve had and used this thing for the last five years (paid $125); it’s amazing. The turkey is never dry, and it has a light crisp to the skin. I wouldn’t use it indoors, and if you’re cooking a larger bird in the >17# range, you’ll want to put a larger drip pan underneath, but this thing is well worth it.

We pay for a cleaner to come once a month and do a five hour (2.5 hour *2 cleaners) whole house cleansing. They do a great job of getting all of the little nooks and crannies that we seem to miss. On top of that, it encourages us to pick up all of the little junk piles that we tend to leave lying around, so we know

This would be great, with Digit nearing the end of its “free” period before they start charging customers (and likely go out of business shortly after).

I set up Qapital to do this for me, but unfortunately they can’t seem to connect with my primary credit union. I was easily able to get them set up with my secondary account through Chase, but I don’t make many transactions through there, so my savings after a few months is pretty low; only $65. Oh well, it’s better
