We used to call massed Winstons “the barrel of monkeys” but have since renamed this hilarious tactic to “Harambe’s revenge.”

For the last 20 years, Ford has been on the cutting edge of technology that is completely wrong for the application. Gigantic, small-displacement OHC V8 engines that need a ton of revs to make power? Check! Extensive use of aluminum in trucks where fatigue limits are a definite issue? Check!

The real lesson here is that bed liners are important no matter what truck you have.

What is this, and article from the 1900's??? Up next on Jalopnik, those new found horseless carriage thingamahoozits are the wave of the future.

This article is a stretch. You think Chevy is waging jihad against aluminum, the element, in general?

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised that when GM comes out with their Aluminum trucks that they line the bed with steel instead. Like you said I don't really have a problem with their methodology but it they're not careful it will come back to bite them.

I humbly think that only some clueless idiot could suppose that GM is criticizing aluminum in general. They are obviously criticizing its application in a truck bed or cargo area. Sure in the future they will use aluminum too, but I bet my left nut it will be for the outer body panels and not for the beds of their

They’re still making these? I thought they stopped. And as someone else mentioned, the “military-grade” wordplay is just as dumb from Ford.
