And there are other action movies that break new ground. Remember when John Wick was a fresh take on action cinema? Remember when Iron Man breathed new life into the superhero genre and kickstarted an absolute behemoth that’s dominating cinema to this day? In the timeframe of the last 5 Bond films  we’ve had action

Australia’s Triple J* did it with NWA decades ago and it wasn’t a timid family-friendly publicity stunt neither.

There’s a time and a place for taking risks with big budget film-making but in order to be able to take those risks you need to be able to generate the money and the skills to be able to do so first. The Bond Franchise has been a proven earner and provided much needed work and experience for legions of stunt-crews,

I’d also add in the tens of thousands of jobs created through marketing and product placement in Bond films. The most notable I can think of being Aston Martin.

Just off the top of my head there’s Black Widow, Red Sparrow, Atomic Blonde (hell, most of Charlize Therons output tbh), Salt, Haywire, Charlie’s Angels, Colombiana, Kill Bill, Gunpowder Milkshake, the 355, the Protege, La Femme Nikita, Lucy, Kate, Anna, Ava, and Hanna

Well over a 60 year timeframe they’ve provided work for tens of thousands of cast and crew members, extras and other ancillary positions, boosted tourism in a variety of locations across the globe and have never lost money, so why would they stop?

It depends which Natalya Simonova you are talking about.

4: In most cinemas it was a visual mess. They went super-fancy with the set design and colour schemes but didn’t stress to the theatres that they needed to adjust their projectors accordingly so everything came out as a big dark, brown mess.
A few months later I watched it again at home and it displayed on an OLED

And if that wasn’t enough, just to really make sure the message gets through we get an instrumental piano cover of Lana Del Rey’s ‘Video Games’ to play us out....

I used to be an author of NPC dialogue but then I took an arrow to the knee

It’s been almost 3 days and it’s still ‘Billie Joel’ in the header!

Cruise < Selleck < Hardy < Hanks < Holland < Hollander < Hollandest

Wait. Ana Matronic was in that suit? Jeez. I know it’s been a long time since the Scissor Sisters last had a hit but I didn’t think she was that hard up for cash.
RIP

While it’s nice to see she was enjoying the company of a (presumably much younger) working man, is Tom the reason why Jerry split up with Rupert Murdoch?

Why have Rolling Stone been accused of housing the mother and her kids on Miller’s farm?

If this is alt-history, does that mean that in real history Bill Strausser would have been played by Steve Agee (Dye-Beard from Peacemaker)?
Can anyone confirm if Harpster and Agee have ever been seen in the same room?

Agree wholeheartedly. The groundwork was laid for this storyline back in season 2 with her sharing the knowledge of the O-ring issue (a notable alt-history twist as well, as that’s what caused the Challenger disaster IRL), the subsequent reveal at the end of the season that the KGB were aware of their phone calls and

It’s not his best surprise cameo this year. That’s for sure

We have a UK version of ‘Sundance’?

If I were to hazard a guess at why the staying power is so good I’d put it down to a couple of factors. One is that unlike an MCU or Star Wars film, there isn’t the rush to see it as soon as possible to avoid spoilers in social media. Everyone knows it’s going to be a lot of fast jets, shirtless beach sports and
