Trauma responses are different for everyone and Will Smith’s actions would undoubtedly have triggered a mild shock in almost anyone watching however to then wallow in the ‘trauma’ of it all is an incredibly unhealthy way of thinking.

Witnessing someone slap another person may well be ‘traumatic’ for some people. Folks are weird like that but I do have to wonder just how in the hell have they coped watching the news for the 5 weeks.

What the hell is it with accommodation prices in Canada? I found it cheaper to stay at a damn ski-resort (Whistler) than it was to stay in Vancouver itself and I’ve just paid through the arse for a week’s accommodation in (that other popular ‘budget’ location stand-in) Toronto later this year.

If the phrase ‘Canadian Tuxedo’ is anything to go by then I believe that ‘double-denim’ (i.e the combination of blue denim jeans and a blue denim shirt) is also a popular sartorial choice in the frozen lands of the North.
