It's not quite Cate Blanchett in 'Hot Fuzz' but it's a start

I liked it, partly because it was less bleak than the original novella's ending and the army turning up at the end neatly reversed something that always irks me about other apocalyptic monster films (zombies especially). We've got tanks and shit. Tentacles aren't really a match.

Yeah, I hear you guys finally officially endorsed Donald Trump.

Personal favourite comic book movie action sequence is the opening scene of The Dark Knight. Probably because it owes so much to 'Heat'

Marvel have been doing the two credit sequence scenes for ages. It's not their fault if you're too impatient to sit through the recognition of the hundreds of people who toiled to bring you your entertainment, for a bit of extra content.

If I remember right, most of the prisoners captured during The Great Escape actually had their sentences drastically reduced.

"Bollocks!"

or Mary Birdsong. She might not have done as much since but she was one of the best characters on Reno.

And the supporting cast: Patton Oswalt, Jim Rash, Nick Kroll, Nat Faxon, Kenny Rogers…

I'm with the outer space theory too. It would explain why all the staff are there on extended postings away from family for months at a time. Also the makers can smugly go 'oooh. It really was a literal West-WORLD all this time'

I fully support the Standing Rock protestors - it's their land after all- and agree that the authorities are being total dicks about it all however I still feel it's a little bit misguided. The lack of a pipeline doesn't stop the oil production and it's still going to make its way to the market, only instead of

Thunderbolt? Lightning? (It's all) very, very scary.

Twitter is great. I don't post on it. I just read the entertaining tweets of people I follow and ignore all the bollocks that follows.

I don't know about you lot but I am sick fed up with all these rappers wearing track suits and heavy jewellery and smoking cigars. That is a look that has been culturally appropriated from the dearly departed Sir Jimmy Saville and he was a god-damn Knight of the Realm.

Can't upvote enough!

Yeah, I took umbrage at that comment too. Brooker used to write for UK mag Computer+VideoGames away back in the 90's, managed to persuade BBC to let him film a games-centric spin-off of his News-wipe and Weekly-Wipe current-affairs/media review shows called (unsurprisingly) Gameswipe and even managed to get a cameo as

Living abroad, i haven't watched The Talking Dead except for the one time when I was in the US for work when Herschel got killed but I'm honestly intrigued how that episode would go. I'd imagine it'd be like any Trump surrogate interview the day after any of the debates / sex scandal releases.

It is and it's a cracker of a track. Also noteworthy because in the video the band all look like they are about 16 years old and it was a couple of years before Robert Smith discovered hairspray, eyeliner and lipstick to become 'Robert Smith'

I'm still holding on to that theory. Williams is most likely the MIB.

And carry not only ALL the guns but ammo too!
