You’re probably right about the different subgroups within the automotive community. People who rely more on regular cars or have a stricter budget to adhere to respect them a lot more, in my experience.

Take pictures of *everything* pre-storm (vehicles, front porch, roof, backyard/patio, interior ceilings, windows, furniture, etc.). This will help when dealing with insurance in the aftermath.

Same here. Google Photos for personal use but all work stuff is on two physical back up servers and one instance of cloud backup with our own custom management system handling it.  

I mean...either complicit, or REALLY REALLY dumb. For Olivia Jade, I'd buy either one.

Or, if you do have a problem with your children seeing it, maybe do something crazy like...have a conversation with them instead of yelling at anyone who will listen online.

It is totally fine for people to just say “folks are excited about this racy song, and I will pass because I’m not the audience”. No need to bring your children (that you probably don’t take care of) into it or a “distraction” diatribe.

My neighborhood NextDoor site is also in free fall. I’m having to work on who I filter out and mute - because there’s still a lot of good, relevant, local information posted. But a growing percentage is now “LIKE THIS TO SHOW NEXTDOOR THAT US AMERICANS STILL LOVE THE FLAG” crap.

A lot of my Facebook “friends” have been trying the “watch the whole video and you’ll see she was totally justified and goaded into having to pull her gun by those rude people!” argument.

When I ask them the equivalent of, “Is pulling a gun how we should settle arguments now?” I rarely get a reply.
