Last time I’d go to that shop. If I happen to have an earbud in — usually because I don’t need one more thing in my hands at the moment — but I’m clearly engaged and interacting with you normally, then the hangup is yours and you are the problem.

If by ridiculous you mean completely reasonable. I have never *once* had a piece of chalk fail to write, while finding a marker that doesn’t give out after 30 seconds can be nearly impossible sometimes.
Yes, yes yes! A corollary is helping them understand that it’s OK to not get it exactly right the first time, or that mistakes are negative.
That’s true. Diet is mostly notable for its ability to negatively impact performance. The negative impact of bad nutrition is much larger than the positive impact of incrementally better, but already solid, nutrition. But people have stuff to sell, so here we are.
Exactly: Maintain your vehicle, and don’t out-drive the conditions.
Yeah. How badly have you f--ed up if EA is the good guy?
Yeah. This is a good idea, but there are many more ways for it to go wrong than for it to go right. Add to the mix my lack of confidence in the ability of lawmakers to understand technical issues. Their track record is not impressive.
To be fair; it’s the most Current Republican thing ever to not take a stand unless/until there’s no cost to doing so.
A 60-70 month loan? Maybe. Depends on the terms, the vehicle, and the situation. It’s a tool, neither good nor evil. A bigger problem is:
How a New Proposed Data Protection Agency In the U.S. Might Work
Still waiting for one where they just lean into the core ridiculousness of a given game world instead of trying to dramatize or “ground” it in reality.
Don’t know if it counts as a “food” but: Sugared soda (entirely) and diet soda (mostly). The latter is sometimes the only viable option when I’m eating out, don’t want coffee, and don’t trust the tap water.
An interesting move from the party of “limited government.” I guess “states’ rights” and all that only sounds good when it comes to the subjugation of the nation’s black and brown population.
The visual effects execution wasn’t the main issue. Picked the wrong target for the joke.
I’ve never minded going to movies alone.
;-) Can’t disagree. Play what you want how you want. That type of game isn’t for me, but you’re not wrong for liking it.
It’s not weird. Play what you want how you want. The MMOs have never appealed to me, but they’re popular for a reason.
It’s like complex Lego without the mess that I can do on an airplane or hotel room. What’s not to like?
++ on Borderlands as another, more ... aggressive ... “turn-off-my-brain” option. Throw Doom 2015 on the heap.
Minecraft is my main “turn of my brain” and relax option. I don’t play for the end game. I explore/carve out big cave, and then when I have too much cobblestone I go topside and build onto a castle or town I have going. It has an almost zen garden quality for me. Just interesting enough to engage some creativity, but…
