You know, it’s almost like they didn’t think this through.

You see: he didn’t tweet, which ... yeah, I’m grasping at straws here, too.
No, racism is an anarcho-syndicalist commune. They take it in turns to act as a sort of executive racist for the week.
This is squarely in the category of: What did you think was going to happen?
One other variation I’d add is, as appropriate for the relationship, is just be with me. If you can’t get me to go out, stay in with me. Don’t let me isolate myself.
Yes. To points in the article, and to your comment.
You’re fine. She’s just the sort that bends the Bible to mean what she wants it to mean. The scary thing is she probably didn’t come up with that herself. She She’s just the one saying it out loud in public instead of Bible study.
Here’s where we see the comical hypocrisy of the today’s GOP. They will be calling for her expulsion without a hint of irony. If she were Republican, they’d be downplaying or ignoring it — based solely on whether there is a (D) or (R) after her name. Today’s GOP: Right and wrong are defined by whether you vote a way I…
Anyone criticizing Luck has simply not been in that situation. I instantly lost whatever lingering respect I may have had for Gottlieb for how aggressively stupid that take was. I wasn’t close to Luck’s level, and never would have been, but I had to make the same decision. My body quit before my potential ran out.
Total newbie/dumb question. Is this is kind of bike that would be good for a tall (6-7) rider? I’ve read to start with a smaller bike, but I’m tall with long legs, and I’m afraid I’ll look like a Shriner on a smaller bike. (And I don’t need any help looking ridiculous.)

Exactly. Never got that metaphor. I mean: I get it, but it’s misguided. Fried eggs are awesome — way better than raw eggs — so doing drugs makes my brain a better version of itself?
Agree: It’s practice v rehearsal. If someone would find it interesting/pleasant to listen to you for more than a few minutes, you’re not practicing; you’re rehearsing.
Don’t forget that not being able to tell which is correct is a sign that you need to rewrite the sentence. You probably have a clarity issue masquerading as a grammar issue.
Yeah. Tying it to mental health is a BIG problem. Mental illness is already stigmatized, keeping people from seeking help. And “having a mental illness” is an awfully broad net, and is not particularly predictive.
Dunno, this gem kicked it off... seems a little confirmation-bias-y from the start, no?
Did ya read it?
I can understand people getting confused and making honest mistakes. But this is so brazenly BS.
The article presents a military history of US involvement with Greenland and some reasons why it would not be a strategic benefit. Trump and his politics are not listed among those reasons. What spin are you seeing? With which reason do you disagree?
