I’m a fan of the franchise. It’s dumb fun, but there’s a place for that in my game library.

I was a teen in the 80s. U2 was never really my bag, but they were *really* solid through Rattle & Hum. I also enjoyed Achtung Baby, but that’s where we started to diverge.

He’s a goofball, but he knows his stuff, and he’s our goofball. For better or worse, his voice sounds like summer to me at this point. Kind of like Harry Caray when I was a kid in the midwest. (I was never a Cubs fan, but WGN was the only channel we got that showed baseball with any regularity.)

I guess I just don’t get what problem this is solving or unique benefit it’s providing. All the things it does are already available in existing cards, including using it via ApplePay with FaceTime authentication. This doesn’t seem to be bringing anything new to the table.

Fake News has contributed greatly to the anger and rage that has built up over many years. News coverage has got to start being fair, balanced and unbiased, or these terrible problems will only get worse!

I avoid video games all together because I’m a veteran of the Violent Cartoons Catastrophe (e.g., Wile E. Coyote, Tom & Jerry) of the 70s/80s. The anvil deaths alone were uncountable. I have a hard time talking about it.

Blaming video games is just this century’s version of blaming things on witchcraft.

Even liberal comedians have a hard time out-parodying a GOP that is already of parody of itself these days. (I haven’t always agreed with the GOP, but I used to be able to respect it.)

Also doesn’t account for the content of those calories. Eating 2.000 calories worth of pancakes or donuts is not the same, nutritionally, as eating a 2,000 calorie burger.
