I'm going to add one in. Speaking of Suchet/Poirot (which is right), I want to go to the other great Christie detective and nominate Joan Hickson's Miss Marple to be definitive. The perfect mix of being a dotty old lady and a detective mind behind that facade

I think that you are slightly mistaken as to Rogers' intent. He does allow for anger and conflict. He talks about divorce and violence. Its all about how kids deal with this anger

The one problem is that getting by blocking is easy. Just write something on a sign and have them see it.
