I’m pre-celebrating his true death.
I’m pre-celebrating his true death.
What about Cheney?
My biggest struggle is I don’t know which libation pairs with Ailes to celebrate his passage.
Right. I like the stuff that hits the right nostalgic notes while adding to it, stuff that builds upon the past. While I had my issues with Rogue One, I enjoyed the visual continuity with the original trilogy. It wasn’t a rehash but a faithful recreation. That’s different from “hey, remember this thing? we’re just…
They said they’re Klingons. I certainly wouldn’t have picked them for that out of a lineup.
We’ll have to see the execution. Hard to say if it’ll be quality parody like Galaxy Quest or garbage parody like an Adam Sandler film.
Doing prequels in scifi decades after the originals will always give us the schizo-tech WTF. Why does the ship that came before the Enterprise look more advanced than the Enterprise? Fine. We’ll get over that for now.
Well if Hillary did it it’s ok!
I can’t tell if that’s sarcasm or from the trailer.
Westworld was a shit show production. The result was very good so far but I tend to judge a show in the entirety. Dexter started great and... Yeah. We don’t talk about Dexter.
I haven’t seen it in ages. Maybe I should keep it that way and preserve happy memories.
With as much money as they had to throw at it and good acting talent this is pretty faint praise. :(
I always give things a chance. But I don’t have much hope. Enterprise lost me at the softcore decontamination gel scene in the pilot. Nothing I heard about it later made me want to get back in. Temporal cold war? No thanks.
I liked what they did with the budget they had. It would be better with today’s tech. And I could get into the filmed stage play nature of the sets. Felt like I Claudius in that regard.
They did a great job with the resources they had. Dune needs a game of thrones approach with an HBO budget. It was better than I expected but not the sort of thing that would appeal to an audience not already into the books. Shows like new Galactica and thrones have crossover appeal to non-genre fans. The two…
The image isn’t bad but the scuttlebutt behind the scenes sounds fire. I hope it goes well but fear it will not.

Nyaruko-san), also known as Nyaruko-san: Another Crawling Chaos, is a Japanese light novel series written by Manta Aisora and illustrated by Koin. It was inspired by the H. P. Lovecraft’s Cthulhu mythos. The series’ twelve volumes were…
Because he’s like Magneto — both characters have been written as Hitler-in-Tights but they’re at their most interesting when they’re morally ambiguous or possibly hinting at a solution we may not like but might actually be correct. For Magneto it’s the idea that mutants are superior, should be kept separate from…
Cocaine is a bitch. Kills the good artists, keeps the bad ones alive forever.
The first movie was bad.
