There’s little nods to Daredevil in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., too. A news ticker mentions the gang war and Daisy Johnson and Matt Murdock were at the same orphanage. It's little touches that don't need to be highlighted or matter to the overall story.

“It’s also unclear if the movie is intended as a theatrical release—Paramount still insists that, at some point, it plans on making a new movie in the rebooted Star Trek “Kelvin” timeline—or if, like Michelle Yeoh’s upcoming Section 31 film, this could be a straight-to-streaming project for Paramount+.”
The actor and character both have a prosthetic leg; could be that’s the one that took the hit.
Rumor is, she's slated to appear in Born Again. I don't know if that still holds with the recent creative shake-up, but it's been floating around.
That would be so cool.
I can’t believe they didn’t mention her stellar role in Cruel Intentions.
The Batman ‘89 comics have almost this exact story.
io9’s review says she has a few memorable/important scenes.
Two Saaviks in Star Trek II-IV, too.
The movies may have ignored the events of the shows, but the Netflix crew acknowledged the events of the films. They may not be part of the “sacred timeline” but they’re damn close.
I would imagine there’s a morality clause in the contract and being convicted of a violent crime violates that.
The brief scene with Matt Murdock and Peter Parker we got in No Way Home makes me want a movie (or episode of TV) of the two paired up.
And Paul Walker was a pedophile, so maybe letting his character fade away after he died is okay.
There are so many talented animation studios out there and they’re sticking with this one.
Every distributor I’ve worked with in my restaurant/bar career has offered a line cleaning service.
Do yourself a favor and track down the script Nick Cave was commissioned to write shortly after the first one. It's bonkers in the best way.
I truly think Marvel needs to hire actual comic creators again* to break the stories and plan the various phases. If they can’t get past the stigma of being comic writers and not “real” writers, they can still hire film or TV writers to finish the plot, but comic writers are bold enough to take bigger risks and try…
I bet they’ve already made a decision, but they’re not going to announce it until they’ve recast Majors. I’m sure the strike made casting impossible and announcing “We’re replacing this guy who beats women with [blank] but, hey, please watch him in Loki Season Two on Disney+!” isn’t a great marketing hook.
“The show has no explanation about what this means for the citizens of New Asgard.”
He’s in the trailer around 1:27
