5 meter minimum length rule.

My grandma drove an 80's (1984?) LeBaron with the base engine and the vinyl top (in gold!). She was rear-ended twice in one year in the 90's; by a trucker and a police officer. BOTH were professional drivers whose brains could not process how slowly my grandma would ‘accelerate’.

You can see my reply to IRegretNothing, as I’m sure the airline staff wanted to help. I would actually bet money that the image we see was taken by airline staff, who felt helpless about the situation where they were not allowed to intervene without special permission from higher-ups.

It’s not the humanity of the airline staff, it’s the legalities. First of all, if the contract specifies the contractors will do it, having airline staff perform the task is a breach of contract. (Any competent lawyer should have contingencies for no-shows, but that still means the default behavior of the staff is

The problem with American bridges is that the guard rails are too beefy to see past them in anything close to an average height vehicle. I blame the lawsuits of people who drove off bridges in the 80's and 90's. I used-to love driving over bridges, but now I can only appreciate the downhill side, and only the view out

Sometimes it takes awhile to schedule all of the tire-kickers between your normal life activities. I appreciate the people who suggest trades and payment plans BEFORE they waste my time with seeing the vehicle.

Yeah, they really took liberties with the definition of “running condition”. If you can’t commute to and from work safely, then the vehicle isn’t really functional.

He’ll even throw in a few slightly-warped 2x4s, the storm window from a door they replaced 15 years ago, and a cannister of fungicide for that tree that didn’t make it.

I’m with you, although my reservations are regarding how little effort the seller is putting into this ad. The pictures are okay, but don’t show anything significant. No engine pics, no info about the top, and the ad is light on details. I’d take a looong hard look before even thinking about buying this.

Kate Bush made unique, well-composed pop music with interesting lyrics for over a decade. She did all of the composition and song writing, as far as I know. After that, she stopped touring, and started producing less pop, but very melodic albums. Many musicians from that era will remember the first time they heard a

Did you order an Si? I was told the standard Civics are much more readily available.

My daughters and I will occasionally take local drives where I’ll head out of town, and then as I approach an intersection I’ll ask, “Left, right, or straight?” and anyone can call out a direction. We find some really interesting places this way.

Your writing will be missed. Good luck! May you continue to enjoy love and happiness in life! See you in the comments! (As one mysteriously banished to the greys, I hope you actually see this post.)

This article is interesting, as it shows another way how the super rich avoid paying taxes. Loan money to yourself, and then call it “debt”, so you can write if off on your taxes. God-damnit America! You can do better with your financial laws!

Current market be damned! It’s really hard to pay 2018 MSRP for a four year old car. I know the days of 50% depreciation in two years went away in the 1990's, but this is insane.

I suspect electrification of cars is going to really screw us all. There’s no way that much lithium going around is not going to cause environmental issues. This is going to be bad in the same way that the 70's fuel standards have fostered a CUV-SUV-Truck culture in America.

I have to agree. Has anyone sat in seats like those? Is your butt bone going to even make it to the racetrack??? Do you wear padded coveralls?

Do you know anything about the 5 speed that GM was offering for this car? At one point, I believe they were spending a lot more time on their automatic transmissions than their manuals. That said, a 1993 automatic is not going to be great.

I agree. It’s a clean car in in interesting color with over 200hp and disc brakes. It was the best iteration of that model line. In this environment, you’ll pay more for something worse. That interior makes me shiver, though.

From what I’ve read on this site, fitting into smaller cars is all a matter of body proportions and how they fit the seating position in the car. That said I haven’t heard of anyone over 6'6" fitting in one.
