Yep. Just another corporate loophole that mere mortals can’t exploit. Rules are for commoners.

I love your enthusiasm and eclectic tastes in cars, Mercedes. Don’t ever change!

Sprays and sweating.

The LX and SHO Taurus were surprisingly luxurious compared to the run of the mill versions. Still had 80's rattles, though. Interior quality has come a long way.

I can tell you that those Taurus seats that looked like that after 10 years. The fact that those are not split in multiple places is impressive!

Color is but fleeting! My gratitude to you, all the same!

I agree, but there has to be some exclusivity to performance as well. Perhaps we should separate “supercar” from “exotic supercar”. The RUF 911 used-to be a standard for supercars (fastest road legal), but was not exotic. The Countach was much slower, but definitely has the ‘exotic’ and boisterousness covered. The

That video of the Ford Lightning never gets old! Perfect Dukes of Hazard jump! Perfect Dukes of Hazard results, which are carefully edited from the final product.

It depends if you’re a customer or litigant.

The 2009 side-impact standards are a big help when the Saturn gets t-boned by a CUV/SUV carrying its weight much higher than that Saturn was designed to handle.

Yep. People are saying “You could get....”, but are they really looking that you CAN get those cars at that price in this market?

Hitting another car or the railing would have been a lot cheaper to repair. Either way it’s a bad day.

I was going to reply that these tires are probably a custom size and very expensive and out of stock, but I was wrong. A quick, 2016 Viper search came up with less than $1,000 per tire. No excuses there, except maybe short supply.

I’m thinking the vibrations from the large group of vehicles might have started the rolling.

And bad luck that their car was lined-up with the stairs down to the water instead of the concrete railings.

Is it a peaceful demonstration when it’s affecting people’s livelihood? When you deny people their daily income (or in the case of some industry sub-contractors, weeks of income), that’s not a peaceful demonstration. That’s an attack.

Agree! My very first thought was “low-obstruction sightlines”! I drive down the street looking at the tiny little rear windows in these SUV’s and CUV’s, and the single windshield wiper is possibly 9" long. This sums up how much manufacturers expect you to look behind you when changing lanes.

That door-popping trick is sure to earn you a hefty fine, and possibly some free lodging at an expensive ‘hotel’ with bars for doors and very restricted egress and visitation policies.

I’ve seen these hit parked cars in town while trying to make a right hand turn. The middle of the truck can’t get around the corner and hits the first car parked along the street. I’m surprised they don’t regularly get stuck in parking structures!

AAAAAHHHHH! AAAAAAAHHHHH! NOOOOOOO!!!!
