See, the problem is that they only moved 2 teams there. If they had gone ahead and moved all three teams, they’d be getting three times as much money! That’s just simple math.

Wtf is up with Ford, that they go through these wild swings every decade or so. They get their house in order, and everything’s fine for the equivalent of one product cycle, then they’re right back in crisis. Nothing ever lasts.

It’s technically branded whoever bids cheapest but they’ve long been a valued brand to consumers and that value is worth a lot.
Sears, JC Penny, and Montgomery Ward catalogs kept me out of my parents’ hair for many Christmas seasons.
I would think its more than a ton. Probably several hundred tons. Lets assume the average auto worker weighs 200 lbs, more than 10 people are nervous about losing their job.
I get hindsight is 20/20, but all they really needed to do was move from a paper catalog to an electronic one.

As a child of the late 70's and 80's, Sears was HUGE. There was a giant, multi-story downtown building near us and we went there for everything. Sunday clothes, electronics, TV sets, tires... even the roof came from Sears.
