I agree. I think they triggered an “error mode” when they drove too far forward when the machine thought it was starting the wash. Probably needed to either completely start over, or manually press a reset.

Except we don’t have a true capitalism, either. It would be nice to remove corruption from government, businesses, and union leadership, but none of these will be easy to accomplish.
