There will always be variation of results on NPCP. Perhaps we are victims of price anchoring. Since the previous cars were so much more expensive, we might be more forgiving of this lower priced option. Or maybe there is more 80's nostalgia happening this year. I’m always surprised how many people think, “I’ve done it once and passed, so that’s enough.” I read the accident reports, and although filtered through FAA lingo, it’s surprising how many people crash from not having a clue, or they forget basic procedures when they become disoriented.

Research shows that training and practicing various emergency procedures is the way to go. That, and respect the conditions. Who has time for training and waiting for weather? Especially with family responsibilities.
