I want to star every one of these so badly, except for the options thing. I like to pick what’s in my car, and sometimes I don’t want all of that stuff.

Did you read the article? It’s a wetlands problem, not a levy problem. The levys are exacerbating the problem. The problem results from people changing the natural landscape, which causes storm surges and erosion.

That Mustang corners flat as a wedge! I’m feeling seasick just thinking about the wallow our ‘78 Stang had.

I find myself doing this after long trips. After unloading the car, it just seems like the correct thing to do.

I was trying to figure out what motivated ANYONE to try to explore the top speed of a LeBaron convertible!

Roller skates. One for each foot.

Yes, all the American cars went to crap in ‘74. Those still sold like hotcakes, though, and gave Ford the money to design the fox body. And yes, they were not “Mustang-y”.

Over in SE Michigan, there’s a highway exit 69 for Big Beaver Road. I’m wondering how the planners managed that one.

I can give you an ~10 point list why a sedan is better than a wagon for everything except looks and cargo capacity, but I won’t put that here. (Unless you ask.) As for looks, I do like modern, sleek sedans, but 90's styling has a certain, perhaps nostalgic appeal to me.

It doesn’t give you a headache from all of the angles and creases. Simplicity can be beautiful.

(Why won’t Kinja allow me to delete an accidental post?)

Preach! It would be cheaper to throw away your used clothes and buy new than to drive a bigger car all year. We are creatures of convenience, though.

But digital dashboards are GREAT, because people can drive around without their headlights on at night, at dusk, and in the rain and snow and NOT EVEN KNOW IT!!! (At least their GPS knows where they are, since I sure the hell don’t!)

I like when people actually find a nice backdrop for their car photos. You aren’t selling your driveway and subburban cookie-cutter house. Why not drive 5-20 minutes to somewhere interesting? Even a brick wall is better than old cars and your neighbor’s uncut lawn in the background.

That joke is so old, that.... I can’t even think of an “old joke” to go here. Serioiusly, that’s a 1980's joke!

Yeah, my first thought was, “REALLY, Ford!?? First you steal Aston Martin styling cues and now you steal Volvo’s???” Do see a lot of Hyundai as well.

What “cool” car did they drop from their lineup when the ‘99 Prius was launched? I vote that your distaste for hybrids are coloring your view of history. Toyota didn’t even expect to sell many Prius.

The problem is that when security breaches DO happen (and they will), it’s on the victim to spend weeks and months of their life trying to restore their credit. When the credit agencies start treating customers with some respect, I’ll trust their streamlined systems.

If you have to ask, it’s not for you.

Where do you live where you can get houses for $175K? I guess you can get something far from the cities, but I don’t think you can get a house and much land for that price. Maybe a double lot?
