Great review (as always). Like Les, I have never exactly been a big Nina/Lance fan, so I was sort of dreading this. But they really are well-suited to the longer format. The ending recalled Arrested Development's "Pier Pressure" to me (only with marriage proposals), and did so hilariously. But it also really did have

Oh, that one's great. Could also go with the finale very easily. Truly one of the best first seasons of a network sitcom in forever.

That episode is just SO GOOD. I mean, it still has to deal with the Callie/Brandon crap, but it's one of the few eps from the season's 2nd half that actually did that moderately well. And the Stef/Callie scene towards the end had me sobbing.
