I agree. I think he made so complicated he can’t figure it out. I’m sure he has a general idea how he wants it to end, but I don’t think he knows how to make it happen with all the various threads that are out there. Readers (some of them) are so obsessed with the details, they will know when he fucks something up.

That’s exactly what the situation is, and probably has been for 10 years, at least. Probably since he started struggling with how to restructure the books starting with #4 where he drastically re-worked how he initially saw the books being presented. I don’t think he ever imagined in 1990 that the spur of the moment…
