@Xeno: Yes, but does it have a plucky redhead awaiting you inside? *sigh* Unfortunately, mine does not either.

@presto117: I wasn't excited either, but I came away from the panel really looking forward to the film; which is more than I can say for Angelina Jolie and Salt.
@Hello Mister Walrus: I believe that as governor he cannot make an appearance in a movie beyond a specific amount of time. If I understood what Stallone said correctly at Comic-Con, Arnold couldn't even be on the set for more than several minutes. So he rushed in, said his lines, and then left all under time.
I saw Terry on the Expendables panel at Comic-Con. He seemed like a kid in a candy store and more than thrilled to be included in the movie. He was the first person to be called out to the stage and he came barreling out stage left, jumped up on the table, took his shirt off, began flexing his pectorals and…
@RutgerHauer: You're right that this thread specifically has been friendly. I saw a couple that I didn't care for, which caused me to post. Perhaps I'm just shell shocked.
I have come to loathe discussions on smartphones. The constant bashing of either side has turned these forums into an arena. Intellectual, or at least friendly conversation requires that, as the opposition, you concede on points when shown that the other is better, or at least agree that we have differences. …
@dtemp: Your comment it the epitome of the kind of comments this site should have. You didn't troll, and you pointed out pertinent information that helps us all understand everything better. If I had my druthers this would be the only comment allowed in this thread today.
@Arbron: It's not about believing - I just didn't put 2 and 2 together to realize that it's was a reposted article. Regardless, Gizmodo chose to post it to their front page, and I didn't care for that fact. I'm given the option to make my opinion known, so here I am.
@Arbron: Did you pay attention to the bottom of the article?: "The author of this post can be contacted at tips@gizmodo.com." Which am I supposed to believe? Sure, you can say it's part of their template, but if you're gonna be picky, then this is my defense.
Sorry Giz, but this is just muckraking.
Everyone stay away, she's mine!
@konfused: I didn't mean to say there wasn't a flaw. I was saying that not everyone is having the problem, and I think that's because the problem doesn't exist in each handset. I understand your comment on signal strength, and perhaps where I live, Cincinnati, there are no problems (and never have been, as AT&T's…
@ilovetofu: I totally agree. I want the problem fixed, especially in case I ever have to return my phone for another.
@konfused: Because not everyone is having this problem. I do not have any problems, so it's not a brick to me. I don't know what to tell you other than there is more information than you currently have to explain this issue, and that's why you're confused.
This is just the problem with video calls in general. When you stand in front of someone you don't stare into each other's eyes, as that would be uncomfortable. If you did, you might get through your list of social graces (greet, ask how they other is doing, comment about something banal) and then go into the meat…
@thefinestline: "Immediately I start hoping it would be the novelty body condom I ordered 4 months back..."
@octasquid: If you live anywhere near me then I suggest you don't even both going in. The pre-order lines will be horrible and you should just stay out of my way I MEAN OOPS OMG stay home.
@BernardMagic: Both are there for me.
@thehouserules: On a jailbroken phone I'm not sure. I don't see why you couldn't at least block the IPs of the servers delivering the ads.
@my favorite car is a motorcycle: Agreed. Who said that developers are going to place ads in apps that you pay for? Can't they do that already with AdMob? I think the users will also handle this by leaving negative feedback, preventing future iPhone users from buying that app.
