8 rib seems like a pretty robust belt

Yeah my mom got a 17 Durango and the auto stop/start makes me glad I got a 15 which was the last year before they added that feature

On lower trim truck, that is a seat where a 6th person can sit. Its not really any bigger than the console in any other full size that offers a bench option that someone can actually sit in.

The 8.4" Uconnect screens in both of my vehicles (13 and 15) both work with gloves; at least the ones I’ve tried

Only with the max tow package that adds an extra leaf and 7 lug hubs. You may as well buy an F-250 because it will handle that much weight better

Not the 2013-2017 Uconnect

Uconnect has both Android Auto and Carplay as of model year 2018 Rams.

If you are towing 12,700 lbs (its not 12,000) with any regularity you need a bigger truck than a half ton anyway. Towing than much weight with a truck that only weighs 5,000-6,000 lbs is a recipe for an “exciting” tow-which is not a good thing. Either way, 6+ tons is hardly pathetic.

Interesting they finally seem to be going with round wheelwells; that’s an improvement but I am not sure about the rest of the styling.

Its all the 5.7s too; 1500s, Jeeps, Durangos, Chargers, Challengers, 300s...
The truck 392 and SRT 392 that is used in Scat Packs and SRTs are very different engines

Hemis *Recommend* 89; 87 is “acceptable” according to the manual

Driver’s side seems to make more sense. All the vehicles I have owned have had it on the driver’s side and those I’ve driven with it on the passenger’s side seem less convenient for no good reason

On both of my vehicles (with LCD displays) you can set the display to dim when the lights are on. If my eyes are blinded by the instrument panel then I know the lights aren’t on.

I thought LED running lights were cool when Iron Man came out and Audi was pretty special for having them. They got played out in a few years

Since when is a 5 liter a “large displacement” V8?

I still think its a bit of a reach to assume there will be an autonomous vehicle revolution, at least within the next 20-30 years. While manufacturers are developing the technology I think a lot of people will resist the idea of giving up their ability to leave their house and drive from one side of a continent to the

Fiat Chrysler was able to mitigate their losses on the short-lived PF Dart by selling their stock of headlight assemblies to rival Ford, for use in the 2018 Mustang

Thank God. I read through all the comments and didn’t see anyone mention it and was beginning to think I was wrong; that perhaps the Mustang didn’t come out in 1964. But then I saw this and remembered that the original pony car came out in 1964, before the Mustang:

Do we have exterior dimensions for the JT already? I bet it won’t be as small as we’d expect considering where the Taco and GM midsize twins are in size. It is definitely going to be bigger than a JLU.

The F-150 has independent front suspension. The JT will have a solid front axle. That accounts for a significant amount of weight
