Challenger

Weak. Should at least be a 340 or even a built 318 (you can get those over 400 hp NA). The 5.7 Hemi is a 345, not a 350 anyway

I was never a fan of ‘72-74 Challengers...Until now!

Did it say GM? I was assuming gen 3 Hemi.

Oh, there’s the part about the carbs. Damn

I am not sure what state you are in but before your comment the lowest I’ve heard was 4500. My truck has a brake controller, but most trailers I’ve towed with a ~2500 GVWR don’t even have surge brakes.

A brake controller for 2000lbs?

excuses...

You do not have to be a car guy, Dodge has been around for 100+ years and their cars aren’t exactly hard to come by

Yep, this is Houston too so most of the other cars were probably going around 85

Does anybody believe this was not done on purpose? The 2.0 spec sheet I’ll buy, but the owner’s manual?

Different manual probably; since its a truck I am sure it will have at least some powertrain differences to handle more abuse

There is a difference, “user guides” will only be a couple hundred pages and don’t go into much detail about how to perform maintenance procedures. They will show you how to use the radio and electronics (usually the longest part), maybe have a fuse diagram, and a diagram of where everything in the engine bay is. Also

They’ve had these on Rams for years, makes you wonder why Jeep didn’t get them sooner given how common it is for people to add lighting

My 15 Durango agrees, I can read road signs in my rearview mirror 300 yds away with the light that racetrack puts out. Makes backing super easy though

Or a Windstar...or a Freestar...

The scores of people who bought them beg to differ, as would the success Chrysler continues to have with minivans.

Remember, it was the 80's, the aesthetics weren’t unusual

This also begs the question: why can I not get an interior in this color anymore? All we have now is black/gray and tan. Maybe red leather in a sports car

Why did they do this instead of bring the Pajero to the U.S. market? That and the L200 are some of their best vehicles

Automatic transmissions with manual valve bodies have been around for decades
