Ya you've pretty much got the gist of it. I loved all the Uncharted series, so Tomb Raider was just more of that. Its not for everyone, but I find that sort of game refreshing from time to time. It really is like binging out on a movie for me. The gameplay isn't particularly novel but the story is decent and the

I'm this way too. It used to really bother me, but now I realize that I'm older and I have less free time and I really don't need to have to complete every single game just because I bought it. Especially when it only cost me $5.

I'm pretty sure my local theater gets a lot of 4k content. At least there's a starting intro to most screenings with "Sony 4k" on it. Perhaps that's just for the projector as you said. But my theater is the experimental one for the chain so it's possible we're getting better stuff.

This is the best thing I've seen all day. Awesome.

Interesting. Something similar happened to PSN a week or two ago where none of the party chat/invite features worked. It was kind of surprising how useless a console feels when you can't use the invite features to play with your friends. Also happened on the day the new maps for CoD released, so not good timing.

So how did you reply? Or did the reply function still work? Because that actually might be nice. Why load anything if there isn't anything there?

I tend to think of these things as a relationship. Sure everyone can just take their toys and go home, but more realistically we want what they're selling and they want our money. It's best for everyone involved to get along nicely.

Bold strategy there. Now the expectation has been set that this game is an extra 6 months polished. No excuse (in the eyes of the public) for game breaking bugs at launch now.

I think that historically most Kickstarter games I've heard of have been under-funded. They seem to be over optimistic on how much development actually costs and how much time it will actually take.

People are complaining about the publisher's reaction. At the end of the day it's the publisher's call, but that doesn't mean the people can't complain about it, blog about it, and generally try and bad mouth the company for it. The publisher is trying to sell something to us and if they want to continue to do so they

You think this is a game?

Not that this makes it any better, but I still expect our government to screw it up somehow. We can take the most basic of things and then utterly corrupt them due to political infighting and bickering.

Yep. First time I got encumbered I changed my max carry weight to 10,000 and never looked back. That sort of thing just doesn't appeal to me.

I wonder if the joystick on that would actually function properly. Seems like most PC games are either/or on k&m or gamepad, not both.

How much different is this from sequels? Or expansion packs? They know they're planning on adding more to the game, they announce it before the game ships. It's really not that complicated.

Basically that thread is just an announcement. The real AMA comes later. This is to prevent the thread being pre-filled with thousands of comments. However in this case Gabe never showed up, so there was no new thread.

What did you expect would happen??

I agree. The consumer version needs to come out before all the hype washes away and they're left with nothing.

Do people like it when let's plays include a video of the person? I've always found it somewhat odd, but it's even more odd here when the Rift blocks out all facial expressions.

Cars don't even really have to be your hobby either. Depending on where you live and work you could easily end up spending 2-4 hours a day in your car. That's a lot of time to spend in a thing that just barely gets you from A to B. Investing in a nicer stereo or heated seats or some other sort of luxury isn't so
