I can't figure out what his arms are doing. Is he hugging something? Crossing his arms? Something about it just feels off to me.

Hmm. I wonder how they do that. We know pretty much exactly how pokemon are put together in the DS games. It's a simple matter to arrange the bytes in the proper way to create a "new" pokemon with whatever specs you want. With the game code cracked wide open, we know we can make bit-for-bit exact copies. How then can

Not saying you aren't right on some of the things, but you're also not entirely correct either.

PS4 doesn't work with 4k? That's news to me. Unless you meant games. In which case, neither console (to my knowledge) supports 4k. But I thought 4k movies were at least a possibility on the PS4.

A lot of people cared when the PS3's lack of memory made Skyrim basically unfixable. It may or may not be poor coding on Bethesda's part, but people on Xbox (and PC) had a better experience because of "better" hardware.

Actually, it's more like opening up a new city's worth of roads. Despite your best efforts, it's impossible to see every slowdown, every hiccup until the roads are actually in use by real people going about their lives. After they're filled, suddenly it becomes obvious that this road is always congested because of X

Rhodesian Ridgeback!

That doesn't prevent hacked pokemon, just the one's that violate the games rules. Still possible to "hack" a perfect IV shiny legendary. Because technically it *is* possible, just very, very unlikely.

Hm. Well it's still a different rule than the one being discussed here. And while I have been asked to make sure my backpack is properly stowed, I've never been asked to put away a book or a magazine. Nor have I ever even heard of this rule or even others mention it before. So it would appear that the rule you speak

When I was little I used to pack at minimum 3 long books for any trip. Even a weekend trip. Most times I wouldn't even finish the first book, but I was absolutely terrified of being stuck in the car for hours on end with nothing to do. Even now I make sure I've downloaded a couple of titles to my kindle just in case

I have rechargeable batteries around the house too. But honestly they only ever get used in remotes. My phone, camera, controller, bluetooth speaker, laptop, wireless headset, and 3DS all have internal rechargeable batteries. It's just the way things are. Sure sometimes it'd be nice to just swap a battery and go, but

I've done the same on the few flights I go on, but it'd be nice to just stick with the ereader. I've never flown far enough away that battery life is a concern though. Just make sure I charge up before I get on the plane.

I get what you're saying, but it's a different rule than the one being discussed (and rescinded) here. They won't replace the ban on electronic items just because someone got clocked with an iPad. They'll do just as you say and implement a rule that all items must be securely stowed during takeoff/landing. Which would

Haha, I wasn't really trying to say this minor issue is in any way comparable to actual human rights or something! Probably a poor choice of words on my part. Just trying to point out the hypocrisy between the treatment of electronic vs non-electronic forms of entertainment.

You unplug your PS3 every night?

As far as I'm aware the concern about heavy/sharp objects flying about the cabin was merely a theory put forth by various non-FAA people. I don't think it was ever an official reason. Just something people thought up to try and explain the rules. At which point, most people bring up exactly your concern. Many of the

Sorry for wanting my e-reader to have equal rights as all those people with magazines or real books. I don't see anyone complaining about them being unable to just stop reading for a few minutes.

Except most people I know that have a 360 have either bought the 360 rechargeable packs (which seem to die very quickly) or bought regular rechargeable batteries. Or they just constantly feed it non-rechargeable batteries. Either way both consoles do better if you're willing to invest in that "extra thing".

You used the wrong pokedex entry! The Y version helps explain why espurr is so scary:
