Why does everyone use the car example??? It sucks. Find a better one.

I got a cheap charging stand for my controllers. When I'm done playing, the controller goes back on the stand. I've only had my controller die on me twice while playing. Once when I forgot to put it back on the stand and once when I literally played for ~14 hours straight (not a good idea).
It's not just the PC version, most AC games tend to take a little getting used to. You'll often randomly jump off a building when you were trying to do something else. More recent games have done better at this, but it's still not perfect. (Not sure about AC IV though).
Still need to go back and finish ACIII, but yes, I quickly abandoned the optional objectives as well. It's one thing to provide a neat challenge, it's another thing to remove the fun and creativity out of the game because you want me to go about a mission in the stupidest, least efficient way possible.
I'm really of two minds on this. I hate the way the US is becoming a nanny state where more and more the government is raising your kids, but at the same time so many parents are just so freaking stupid. It'd be one thing if they actually had to deal with the consequences of their actions, but these same people are…
Video game ratings are enforced better than any other medium. Significantly higher enforcement than movies or music. Despite this, the entire process can be short circuited by clueless parents that later blame developers after allowing their 9 year old to play GTA V.
Yes! This makes me a happy camper. I was really the only thing that kept me from really enjoying BF3.
Could you at least comment on the lobby/party system? I didn't play the BF4 beta, but does it function like the current BF3 does? I still have a hell of a time getting into the same game, same team with my friends. I'm wondering if that's going to continue to be a problem in BF4. For a game so focused on teamwork,…
I was excited about MW3 having Spec-Ops coop mode. Thought it'd be a nice change from zombies to have the enemy shoot back at you. Unfortunately they limited it to only 2 players (Why???), which at least for me, got boring pretty quickly. Glad to hear this one is going with 4. I might check it out eventually.
Ya this is what I'm mostly worried about. What if the kids parents don't know about this feature and then all the sudden some older dude's voice blares out of his/her speakers. Personally that'd freak me out as a parent, especially given how young some kids play pokemon.
This was me. How can I feel bad for abandoning a town in a game I don't even own???
At least they didn't clip the railing on the way down. Might have made it worse.
Just trying to point out that it is possible that their database is set up in a such a way to make it difficult/infeasible to change a username. It's probably not the smartest way to design a database, but companies, even big ones like Sony, do stupid things sometimes.
Other companies probably tied your account to a random number rather than your username, thus allowing you to relatively easily change it. It's possible that Sony did not do this and now it would take a tremendous amount of effort to support that feature.
Problem with L2R2 is that they have significantly more travel than L1R1. Which might be useful in a real gun (to prevent accidental firings), but in a video game that extra travel is just wasted time. You'd have to constantly keep them partially pressed in order to "ride the edge" of activating them.
Agreed
I've only played two games all the way through, Red/Blue and X/Y. I've tried Diamond and White, but didn't get through them. My favorite by far is X/Y. It seems to honor the spirit of the first gen, while fixing many of my original grievances.
Ah, I just read the article which was unclear.
Honestly as a consumer I want convenience (I am lazy) and for DRM to not get in my way. I'd also like to be able to easily share the things I own with a limited pool of friends/family. Because while I believe that mass sharing is ultimately bad for everyone, I also know of several occassions where lending a…
