I had one curse at me in Spanish. I was impressed that this Indian guy had a wide ranging list of curse words. 

The meth today is made from different substances than in the “old days” of 40 yrs ago. This new stuff can turn you psychotic so quickly its amazing. We have people in my town who just stand on the street ranting and raving.

Friend visited family in Scotland. Tested neg before getting on the plane. By the time they arrived at LAX they were positive. Know two other people who got on planes (in US) knowing they were Covid positive, they just wanted to get home.

I always laughed when ever someone said that marijuana was the gateway drug to hard drugs like heroin, etc. My opinion was that it was nicotine that was the gateway drug. I never knew an alcoholic or hard drug user who didn’t smoke at some point in their live.

Same exact thing happened to me at Boise. We were just above the runway for a long time, suddenly pulled up and away. Pilot said it was co-pilot trying to land and tail wind speed was not what they expected. Maybe that’s the standard lie.

The reason I love my XB (now 10 yrs old) is that there is a huge amount of interior space for such a small vehicle. If VW does bring the SWB version, I would definitely be in the market.

Wow, this sounds like I could have written it.  You have laid out exactly the unease and disinterest that is filling me these days.

I still have my 2012 Scion XB for exactly those reasons. Wish they still made them.  Why is no one in the US doing a micro van?
