Green Pinto, green AMC Hornet, green Jeep Grand Cherokee, green VW Jetta. I have been longing for a green vehicle for the last 17 years.

When they made the Rav4 bigger, I asked the car salesman why. He said that people wanted bigger. I thought the smaller Rav4 was fine. Guess its back.

My Scion XB has been a perfect car for me these past 9 years.  If they still made it, I would buy it again.  Next year or two I will upgrade to a car with all the modern cons, safety, etc. and this might be the one. I want the higher upright seating position that the XB gives me.

I’m old enough to have seen F1 in Long Beach. My seat was right above James Hunt’s pit box.

Had an AMC Hornet for 10 years and a self-exploding Pinto for about the same number of years. Yes, my family didn’t have much money.

Yup, my mind immediately went to a lot of white people thinking its just blacks getting cooked, so who cares.

Went to look at the Element when it first came out.  The sales lady said exactly what you did. That the young kids weren’t that interested because of price but that it sold to older folks. 

That’s the way I try to figure it out.
