My cousin/surrogate father figure was a bus driver for New Jersey Transit for 30 years. Most of his routes ran from Philadelphia/Camden to the southern ‘burbs like Millville and Bridgeton NJ, so there was always a good mix of inner-city riders, New Jersey’s own special brand of provincials and every thing in between.

285 is The Perimeter - it’s a loop around Atlanta.

Ah, eat your overcooked steak and drink your Diet Coke and quityerbitchin.

Driving on the Delaware Memorial Bridge, just before Hurricane Danielle hit in 1992.  I thought my Ford Escort was going to get tossed over the side of the bridge.

Lance Rye Chee crackers.  Haven’t had them in 30+ years.

I wanted to share my newspaper route horror story... apologies for the length.

First job was delivering newspapers (remember those?) in my little town in South Jersey. I started with 20-25 customers, grew the route to 35-40 and eventually took over the route next to mine as well for a total of 80 daily customers and 100+ Sundays.

I want a car that sticks to the road like my cat sticks under the bed whenever I need to take her to the vet.

I hear Door Dash is hiring.

I think GM should blow the dust off this concept, drop the body onto an electric platform and slap a GMC badge on it (since GMC is doing the electric Hummer as well.)

I’ve lived in GA for 25 years now and I am continually amazed at the number of fucktards that manage to get elected to office to represent our state.

It is very cold in space....

Everyone loves to hate on the Pinto, but what a lot of people forget (or weren’t even alive in the ‘70s to appreciate) is how insanely popular it was - Ford sold something like 3.5 Million Pintos and Bobcats in 10 years.
