I think WoW is still a great MMO. Sure, it is shrinking player-base wise, but for it's age it has adapted very well to modern gaming. Blizzard is no doubt working on it's replacement, and I am excited to see what that means. This news would be worrisome in 2006, but in 2013....not so much.

Actually, yes it does. The new Protoss units basically make Broodlords unusable and the Vortex has been eliminated so that the game's outcome does not hinge on a single ability. Infesters have also been nerved. I would recommend look into it.
