Oh man I feel you so hard about cherry. But the worst is grape. Fresh grapes are good. Grape flavoring is intolerably disgusting.

apparently banana runts are flavored to taste like the Gros Michele, a type of banana that used to be sold in the US until a disease wiped it out a few decades ago, and we got stuck with the banana we have now which is the Cavendish and is supposed to be a lot less good.

I think the only conclusion possible to draw from any post about food is that no one will ever agree. I'm sorry for your sake that so many people hate on licorice!

yes I would! That's so awesome! I also love banana-flavored popsicles, and occasionally you'll find a bag of just the banana ones and that also makes me ridiculously excited.

I ask people whether they like banana Runts a lot, since I love them, and it seems like a starkly divided opinion. People either love them or hate them.

Banana Runts are THE BEST CANDY EVER. One of the best gifts I've ever gotten was an entire bag of only banana Runts - GreenHunk had picked only the banana ones out at the candy store, leaving children in tears, I'm sure, but me very very happy.
