You’re giving me credit for finishing, when in fact it was just plain stubbornness, LOL I already had enough credits to graduate, but there was a capstone class required for the degree that was only offered winter term. So J was born on January 2, 1993, and I started back to school on the 11th. She attended almost all

I’ll pass along your love to Bob. He’s normally majestic AND snuggly and sweet (albeit in a total cat-like way) but right now our daughter is staying with us for the summer (she’s 24, a teacher) because she had ankle surgery and lives in a third-floor apartment plus she’s on Percocet and WOW is she stoned. And she

You didn’t make the comment to me, but I think it was justified. Unless that commenter is paying the bills of chocolatechipcookies, s/he has no right to call bullshit on anything. I’ve been in the same place, finishing school after our daughter was born. Everything is a tradeoff - if you buy the magazine subscription,

I see your point in your OP, and I would agree BUT but my concern - based on her tweet - is that she’s going to basically give him an open forum for his bullshit. I can’t decide if i should pitch a fit at NBC now, watch and pitch a fit if it goes the way I suspect it will (because people suck), or not watch but watch

I see your duckling and raise you a picture of....(checks camera roll on iPad) my super weird cat. In my fruit bowl. It’s now just a Bob bowl because Bob’s fat butt is always in it, whether there’s fruit in it or not.

That comment went off the rails....I was expecting “my child drank it” then I realized you said that YOU drank it.

I would have to tape my dogs to the ground if I wanted them in a picture like that. Or, on reconsidering the picture, to Michelle’s left leg and Malia’s right knee? (Except mine are tiny tiny dogs, so it would be ankle tape.)

I’m the tallest one in my family of origin. My dad and brother are 5'6", my sister is 5'2", and my mom is 4'11" (now - she has shrunk an inch or two since she was young). Meanwhile, I’m over here like some strange mutant, and I’m only 5'7". My great-grandmother was 6' tall, we’re guessing that’s where my height came

My two girls are exactly my height (they are 23 & 24) but we are all eight inches taller than my mom. (At this point, only the 9-year-old grandchild is shorter - my nephew shot up last year and passed “G-ma” too.) It cracks me up to see them all bending over to hug her.

How much can well-done steak with ketchup cost, anyway?

Hockey-watching is definitely an acquired skill. I had to stop to think about your point, and I realized that I don’t watch the puck, I watch the players. You get accustomed to the way they move differently with the puck vs without, and the even more obvious indicator is the goalie backing into the crease and

I mean, that bag is so killer!

Look, if there’s one thing we can all agree on, it’s that regardless of whether or not the design was copied, the actual protective/tactical value of the camo is highly questionable, right?

Don’t judge me, but yesterday I did actually post my dinner on Instagram. But only because I never cook (because I’m terrifyingly bad at it), and not only did I cook it without setting the house on fire, it was really good and I was really impressed with myself. Generally, though, I promise I don’t.

Me too, and I’m not even high. It’s just a ridiculous conversation.

Oh, definitely. Somewhere else in this thread, I declare that the Proper Order of Chrises is 1.) Evans, 2.) Pine/Hemsworth (they are too close to call). My daughter just said the “All the Hotness” thing once, and it has never gone away.

My daughter (23) described him once as “All the Hotness That is Chris Pine,” and so now in our house, he’s just “All the Hotness.” (I personally pick Evans, but everyone knows who “All the Hotness” is around here.)

It makes her look a little more human and less goddess-like, at least, LOL.

Counterpoint: 1.) Evans, 2.) HemsPine (they’re literally so close for me that I can’t pick). I’ve spent an unhealthy amount of time thinking about this, so you won’t be able to argue it and change my mind. :)

Captain America: The Winter Soldier is better. I’d argue it’s #2 best film in the MCU. (I liked it more than CA: Civil War, but I might be weird about that one.) I rank only The Avengers (the first one) above it.
