One of my takeaways: The same bits of the internet who misuse the term “plot hole” are seriously misusing the term “deus ex machina”.

This online outcry is bullshit. The “biggest fans” aren’t turning against it. The online community hivemind is throwing a fit as usual. Outside the internet echo chamber, plenty of people are just shrugging off the game’s growing pains and are happy to be out playing pokemon with other people.

I guess I’m in the minority then. I’ve loved going for walks after work everyday and just catching what I catch. Even if I get nothing good, I went for a walk in the evening - to me, that’s worth the time spent.

Not what I was expecting from the title, but a great read.
