To add to this, I believe that Natasha Richardson died of a head injury simply by falling backwards into snow. It isn’t always the plush pillow of angel feathers we conceive. Ice is hard and sharp, and can do loads of damage.

They’re both lucky his injuries weren’t more serious. Skiing accidents can be fatal, and leaving the scene was unforgivable.

I don’t necessarily think he should post about it on social media, but otherwise agree.

Utah has amazing skiing. Also its Sundance.

I mis-read the headline, and thought that Gwyneth Paltrow had sued the other party, even though SHE caused the crash.

GFY Gwyneth I hope the jury awards the doctor MILLIONS. She should also have to film PSAs about how wrong that was. And be banned from Utah.

Absolutely. B appears to be well taken care of, loved, and kept in the home she knows. This in of itself is a huge accomplishment.

I have family members living with Alzheimer’s right now and this disease is f*cking horrendous. Oftentimes, the majority of care falls on one person. (My aunties hair fell out in clumps from the stress of caring for her mother)He hasn’t abandoned her. He is loving and caring for her the best way he can. I’m glad he

I would go a step further; they’ve found a way to endure a terrible situation in a way that keeps them as together as is possible under the circumstances.

That is  the Goopiest Gwyneth story I’ve ever read. I don’t doubt it.

I guess vaginal egg brought Gwenny down

Seems Dr. Sanderson experienced an unconscious coupling.

I refuse to judge B. Smith’s husband.  If you haven’t lived it you have no vote, opinion or advice to offer.

And it’s definitely not on you or anyone else who is unable to help to lend a hand, but it’s practically unspoken code amongst those New Yorkers who can help, given the shitty circumstances of our realities. Your point about hidden disabilities is so important, as everyone you mentioned would benefit from elevators

I’m a clumsy idiot who has fallen down stairs while empty handed (which has led to a minor stair phobia). I also have severe asthma that makes staircases a problem sometimes.

This is the thing- there’s not always people around to help. And not everyone is able to help. I’ve got shit upper body strength and any time I’ve ever tried to help with a stroller, I’m not really much help at all. Plus people have back problems, hidden disabilities, severe social anxiety- it’s so unfair for public

Can’t argue with that, I always jump in but it’s amazing how often plenty of able-bodied looking people will just walk right past.

HELP PEOPLE CARRY STROLLERS, EVERYONE! THIS CANNOT BE STRESSED ENOUGH!
