I think the idea that VR/AR are not social experiences is a flawed one. Look at HoloLens demos, or Facebook plans for Rift followups. I’m personally excited for the gaming possibilities, but the social/professional applications are why there is so much money being poured into this.

Consider sitting down on your couch,

While you’re probably right about this year’s E3 being inundated with VR/AR demos, consider the insane amounts of money companies like Google and Microsoft are spending to put out a virtual/augmented reality product.

You’re being the guy who said nobody would use a home computer, or nobody would invest in color TV, or

Your car was under $600?

Destiny’s shotguns get a whole section of the article! See “Bad Shotguns”!

So jpeg artifacts are now a conspiracy theory for steam sales.

Do you expect a lot from a burner account named BathsaltAddict?

The spirit of Caity Weaver lives on.

As someone who spent too many post-highschool years as the usher shift lead at a major west coast theater location, it sounds like your theater is just managed really fucking badly.

Just because it’s legally okay doesn’t make it morally okay. It’s still some fucking evil supervillain-tier bullshit.

Having recently played through this game again, it remains one of my favorite single player shooters and my favorite star wars game. With a few tweaks (lol hex edits) to get it to run at 16:9 resolutions and a controller to play with it, it’s fantastic.

They added high-resolution versions of all Warcraft 3 art assets to the SC2 map editor a while ago didn’t they? I imagine someone has started rebuilding the campaigns?

What happens if Abathur clones Cho’gall?

There’s reportedly a new Crucible map as well

Ah, yes. One of my favorite words ever is ‘misericorde’, defined by the Devil’s Dictionary as “a dagger which in mediæval warfare was used by the foot soldier to remind an unhorsed knight that he was mortal.”

You’re fine. Aim assist will compensate for the lack of twitch shooting. What you lose in twitch reaction time, you make up for with easy-mode tracking of moving targets.

“Tattooine was beautiful but there were no animated womp rats in multiplayer. 2/10.”

Right now, half the time rebels ignore their own uplink stations and if you manage to get them active, the rest of your team probably won’t shoot the AT-ATs anyway because they’re too busy crashing your air support into a cliff.

Attack and defense are normalized in every playlist except Trials and IB. The non-numeric stats like rate of fire and impact vary regardless of item level and aren’t normalized because there are level 10 guns with stats equivalent to level 40 guns, as far as Crucible is concerned.

Item levels are normalized in all crucible modes except Iron Banner and Trials of Osiris which are both non-standard limited time events.

Aren’t all Year 1 crucible maps now in rotation in Classic regardless of whether or not you bought Dark Below or House of Wolves?
