well, his character didn't match the one from the book. I viewed that as a problem

I assume he's talking about the age difference of the *characters*?

interesting that you weren't the only outlet to make that mistake. It was posted and the removed on a couple other sites.

any word on the disappearing Assassin's Creed reviews?

wow. it's amazing how different people experience these books. I found W&G one of the best of the series

I miss the Dissolve weekly, at minimum

did I listen to a bad couple of episodes or something? I absolutely *hated* YMRT. it felt like someone reading an article to me really slowly. There was *nothing* added to it by being a podcast, and I could have read it in a fraction of the time.

I think this is the key for a lot of the disappointment here.

honestly, now that I figured out what movie this is, I'm shocked it got this high a review. the trailers for this looked seriously awful.

"touch down in different locations across the planet, floating in silent and mysterious wait"

the cat gets killed, right?

Holy crap. I had no idea Lights Out had been made into a feature. That's baffling, honestly, as the short was so perfect.

Ghost Ship *isn't* a comedy?? because that opening is kinda hilarious. even the fonts scream 'this is gonna be fun!"

eh, it's a big deal because you can tell those 20 minutes were shot to specifically set it up as a big surprise.

omg I loved Jake. I wonder what he ever ended up doing?

and stupid hollywood casting: she's supposed to look like a wreck. emily blunt does not.

I thought the novel did a good job of making the main character an actual mess, and not very sympathetic, and showing the many ways in which women are cruel to each other.

damn. other people remember Mustard Plug

This entire review reads: "there was no reason to make this, it would really be better to just read the book, but I guess it's inoffensive."

I did the same thing and accidentally read spoiler for The Forest instead.
