What gives you the right to tell another player how to play? If a person wants to actively sabotage their team, it’s their game, and they have the right to do it. If someone wants to build a robot to press inputs automatically, they have that right too.

Your example is way off. Let me fix it. You want to play BotW because, among other things, Link is an awesome hero. You buy the game for $60, but you only get to play as a korok leaf, that is, unless you cough up some more money to unlock Link.

I love Kotaku, but this article actually makes me question the site as a whole. Thinking about MK8 Battle Mode actually makes my stomach turn, and now that feeling is forever associated with Kotaku.

This game is one that moved my wife from what I would call, an occasional game playing stand-offish non-gamer, to a lover of games. TWA challenged her brain, while only calling for a single button press, and is exactly what she needed to lower her intimidation in this age of ten button controllers.

My thoughts exactly. Breaking this out in my 3D game development class would scream that this is getting serious.
