Yeah i can typically put an intelligent thought together on how a beer tastes, but I do not have much of a pallette for whiskey despite my love for it. I tried a bonded bourbon last night, and if somebody had asked me for specifics, I think all I could say would be “well it certainly tastes like 100 proof whiskey.”

Zesty isn’t a word I would probably go to, but I can definitely imagine a flavor profile it would fit (heavy citrus and pine, not overly bitter). That friend of a friend can fuck off.

I now feel compelled to say “this is some big fuckin wine!” as my note the next time I have some.

Other people have clarified this accurately, but public discourse is good. What Meghan McCain engages in (if you’ve ever seen her on The View) is not what would call productive discourse. Why try to discuss with someone who just wants to shout “Nuh-uh!”?
