For maximum authenticity, the clothing shown is actually made with slave labor in Bangledesh.
We can thank the Calvinists for this.
I just read in the NY Times that this nurse and her family hadn't been identified, per the request of the family, for obvious reasons.
I used to determine eligibility for SNAP (food stamps) and I used to cry weekly, at least, when I couldn't qualify some people. It was a shitty job....some days it was a good, helpful job, hut mostly it was pretty awful.
Acts circles around everyone in that show!!
It is astounding. I live in SC, and our county is purple overall but solid blue in my city. The school district received a grant from the federal government that allows all the children at my son's elementary school to receive free breakfast, regardless of income. It's an amazing plan. Of course people in the red part…
I don't think of this as a uni-device because it is just a finer grater. Best use IMO: using it on frozen ginger to get the most finely minced ginger known to man. It just melts!

I have drawn blood from a dog, as well as being involved in the restraint (which is the harder job, IMHO). Haven't had to do it in a biohazard suit, but there really isn't as many flying body fluids as you seem to expect. Pits aren't that hard to find a vein on, generally, no excess fat or fur around the jugular, no…
In North America, just about every vet hospital and all the vet universities have quarantine facilities. There are standard protocols for dealing with zoonotic diseases that are equally or more contagious — though exotic stuff usually ends up at a university.
That's taking what we know several steps. First, we have no clue if dogs can actually carry Ebola. Second, we know how long it takes other animals to show symptoms/have positive lab tests.
Pfft, they could tranq the dog's food, then draw the blood. Saying he needs euthanization is a cop-out.
Stop it with your sensible solutions.
