I like the show and the hosts a lot, but I'm definitely drawn more to the more serious true-crime elements of it than when they go off on funny tangents or whatever. Karen in particular is a really good storyteller.

Weirdest, funniest episode to date. Not sure what made me laugh more, "cut across her dreams" or the reveal of the completely out of left field title of the next episode.

John Lennon - Mother
Joanna Newsom - Goose Eggs
Sufjan Stevens - Eugene
Simon & Garfunkel - America (x1000 after Horace and Pete)
Beach House - Silver Soul
Kanye West - Blood On The Leaves (when it first drops)
The Righteous Brothers - You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'
The Beach Boys - Wonderful (off The Smile Sessions, not

Won't watch this, but she seems like a very nice person so I wish it well.

Ellsworth came across so likeable on Talk Is Jericho that I'm insulted by your joking comparison

He and Tatiana are basically a lock for my favourite episode of the year for the second year in the row. I was initially disappointed they weren't following up with Chasmin and Sunny but Mary Holland's character totally made up for it.

Way too late to be weighing in here…but remember that her whole thing in the Hugh Dennis scene is that she "wasn't allowed to speak", but the one thing she does say is the most heartbreaking line of the series. It has to be that scene.

I think Styles' win against Cena was so decisive, and played as such, that I think he's already there. And being the guy that Cena has to beat to get arguably the biggest win of his career would be a boost more than anything (depending on how he's booked after I suppose).

The antichrist DOESN'T EXIST!

Eh, I'm neither so what do I know

I'm finding myself tuning into Talking Smack even when I don't catch the main show. Renee Young is a national treasure.

I loved today's My Dad Wrote A Porno. The more dull and inconsequential the details of the story are, the funnier it is to me, and this chapter is basically all that.

I think it'll survive on its success on the awards circuit, as well as its critical acclaim and "cult hit" status. Breaking into all the main Emmy categories upon its debut season shows the buzz it must have within the industry (far beyond any USA Network show I can think of) so I actually think it'll go on as long as

Yeah, you stick it to the maaaan.

I felt like you needed to be told several times for it to really sink in

Except she didn't, Brock took her behind the dumpster to rape her.

I actually prefer Season 3 to Season 2. Hilary Clinton aside, it felt more down to earth to me, whereas the previous season amped up its surreal elements a little too much at times. Almost like they had a bigger budget than they knew what to do with, so they started making flashy montages of Ilana making pot brownies

The Time-Keeper from Comedy Bang Bang because his delivery of pretty much everything he says makes me laugh.
