Yeah, but, the thrill of getting in my Honda, and it starts every day, every single time, forever, is so much more appealing than having to wonder otherwise.

Needing 5 ECUs and needing all 5 of them to “agree” with each other isn’t my idea of exquisite engineering. This is one of the long list of cars I’d love to drive in mint condition once, but never own.

Oh Florida.

So just makes noise, burns oil, has to be cracked open for seals every 70k miles

It’s a space utilization dream!

They didn’t have to.

its not rationalization because it works, the things is 5 star hotel compared to competition when it comes to conducting business on the go. This is not your diesel sprinter to do long distance runs, its your electrician/plumber van running between clients and doing paperwork in-between.

The whole “comfort of the crew” thing might be a nice rationalization - but the real issue is that the NV300 sold elsewhere was a non-starter for US consumption for various reasons, and they had a ready platform from the old Titan, so they just took a freaking Titan and gave it a frame stretch and a very big backpack.

I think it’s some type of roadway vacuum device

I get a weird feeling of claustrophobic frustrated rage looking at that. NO THANK YOU.

Perhaps you’re just...

And yet we’re deprived of the NV350, which has ALL THE USABLE SPACE!

Have you ever worked on the engine of a cabover van?

This is EXACTLY what runs through my head EVERYTIME I see one of these Nissans.

That sounds fantastic if you’re in a sports car. Can’t imagine it’s nearly as much fun in this lifted death-buggy.

I guy in my old ‘hood had one of these with the 3.4 Camaro v6. Not Mustang 5.0 fast, but kill you dead fast. I mean dead. Dead dead.

CP Just on general principle over that whole threat to jack up the price thing. I bet if you got to his yard he’d start trying to talk up the price from the ad price almost instantly. It is a scam, he probably reckons that if you’ve crawled all the way out with a trailer to pick it up then you probably don’t want to

This makes no sense. Who puts a torqueless engine in a lifted off roader?

At that price? It would have to, you know... function.

Here’s the one to get:
