I was thinking about that also after reading the review! I had to read that for a class in college. Freaked me the fuck out, I think especially since I had to write a detailed analysis of it. But I've always found the idea of losing one's mind much scarier than ghosts.

And this is why I rarely get involved with discussions like this. People see something you wrote and attribute it to some way of thinking that they disagree with and mentally assign you to that group, leading to all sorts of assumptions.
