I literally changed my sons diaper while on my knees in the bathroom of a HOSPITAL! We had to take his twin sister to the emergency room yesterday and that was only bathroom available in close proximity.

Literally had a good friend slip and do that this past summer. Luckily mostly unscathed. Doctor said he sees it all the time and usually pretty gruesome. Had a brother-in-law loose 2 fingers a couple of years ago as well.

While I agree that it is insane how much money these guys make, it is not going to make a bit of difference to the regular employee if they split Steve Easterbrook’s salary among the 235,000 McDonalds employees. Everyone gets $8 more a month... Hooray!!

My wife and I have 4 month old twins. My daughter was born perfectly healthy, but my son was in the NICU for 9 days. Being RSV season, if my daughter left the NICU we could not bring her back in. We spent 8 nights sleeping in a chair and awful couch with nurses coming in and out every ~2-3 hours.

Fair enough. Although a newborn human being isn’t going to survive without a willing host to make sure that it survives either. What is the difference between the two?

Poorly worded on my part. I guess i am just implying that the ability to feel or think should not define what is and what is not a human being.

An adult human being that is in a coma cannot feel or think either... Does that mean that they lose the right to live?
