As a former swimmer it’s exactly this and it’s infuriating. For whatever reason the officials at most meets are males 60+ years old it’s gross. She’s being so overtly discriminated it blows my mind.

My 2 cents is that the sport is better to watch on TV if you want to see the game. You can’t really see a 12-6 curve or see on the eyes of the runners in a live setting. I go to a game now with the intention of just hanging out and maybe seeing a homer or 2.
