Well, the picture that used to accompany that post showed a BMW on the trailer and a trailer with no fender and tires on one side. Not sure where the pic went.

Again we return back to amateur hour. Properly equipped wreckers have a set of wheels and bars that combine to form a dolly. Not as convenient as a flatbed, but does the same job. Most “tow truck drivers” refuse to use them because it is “work”. He’s in a wrecker so he can just snatch with the bar and never get out of…
The same goes for a full size spare. All it takes is a little sidewall rub and some rubber dust inside to make that tire a hazard. Even a little ring run into the sidewall on the outside is enough to fail it out.
Trailer tires are not to be trusted. They will fail and do so spectacularly. I find that it is best to always check the pressure and to just ditch them once they reach 5 years old. All that sitting/inactivity just contributes to their aging and deterioration. I’m very surprised that it didn’t wreak havoc on the side…
Fender let go? If that is the case I would seriously check that whole trailer over well to ensure it is not weakened from rust or some other defect. Although the more likely cause was a failed trailer tire that de-laminated (as trailer tires do since they are not constructed the same way as vehicle tires) and the…
I’m not going to tell you that you did not cut your hands when taking this tire off, you were there, I’m sure cut yourself, and it probably hurt pretty good.
TL;DR Mike, sorry. I work in the industry and already had an answer when I saw the first picture. A skim of the article and other pics just confirmed what I am about to reply with.
That says to me that they are not worried about flooding or losing the car but are concerned about power when it goes out, so an extension cord would suffice.
This is exactly the main reason I never got into GTA online. I love this series and was overjoyed when the last Online version came out. When I finally got to that one it was a madhouse with ships in the streets and all sorts of other hacks.
Let’s invite them into the Taco Bell and THEN put the wall around it.
Oh, that was obvious? You’ve met out “president” and the “people” who voted him in, right? Your tweet seems plausible in today’s world with the lunacy that has been happening for the past 2+ years. Wouldn’t put it past some MAGA fool to do this to “show Nike”.
Never been in one or a Corvette with electronic an electronic door release. I had no idea they just put in a button. That in itself is the sign that one needs to read up on it. But again, most folks wouldn’t make the correlation with no power = no door handles.
Just priced a set of OEM rotors for a Genisis at work. Dealer wanted 600.00 each for a brake rotor. Pads were only 400.00 though.
That goes with the assumption that people KNOW that the locks on the car they bought are electronic. That’s an awfully big assumption. You know that the salesman didn’t say jack about the electronic latches. How is the Average Joe who doesn’t know enough about cars to change an air filter going to know about…
Yep $$$$. I once priced out a driver side Sun Visor in a RX330 that had some sort of “home” controls to operate garage doors and such. 1k, that’s right 1k for a visor. I had to price a window regulator for the same vehicle and Lexus was the only one that had it. It too was right at 1k. No thanks Lexus.
I find it to be a disgusting combo since I love all the other ingredients together as they are. They are perfect and do not need to be “helped with a cinnamon raisin bagel”. I would accept any other type of bagel but prefer Garlic or Everything. (I actually buy Trader Joe’s Everything Bagel seasoning, get plain bagels,…
I’m with you. A loud noise was created that woke the student up. It’s really not much different than dropping a large textbook from a height to scare the sleeper awake. Surely they could have used the textbook method instead of deploying a Tazer that she was already reprimanded for using improperly. We do still have…
You realize a teaspoon of water is potentially deadly too.
What automotive manufacturer does not use parts across multiple models for keeping costs in line? I really don’t feel like that answered anything.
Yep, I’ll bet you never knew that a .50 cent piece of rubber can drain your battery. We see this all the time on imports from the 80s/90s. Mostly Hondas, sometimes Nissan.
