It’s worse than Catholic Priests.

Why can people not remember and understand “If it’s too good to be true, it probably is”?

Yeah, but he wrote a great article explaining Shoe Laces, how they work and what went wrong with the ones that failed. That was followed up with a companion article showing how he rebuilt them to work again.

Andrew, I would probably not go on any road trip with David Tracy. He seems to be apt to break down in whatever he is in.

Won’t have to worry about those employee issues in China. Won’t be any whistle blowers or complaints of unfair treatment.

There, I fixed it for you. Great write up and all, nice job the truck looks better and is safer. That being said, to say that you only spent $250.00 is inaccurate. You spent 250.00 in parts not counting the cleaning and detailing supplies that most likely already had. At no point did you factor in the 45 hours you

I don’t find it nit-picky. Number of cars/busses/fountains jumped doesn’t mean anything. Crushed cars stacked up on top of each other does not make a 52 car jump. A 52 car jump would be a much longer jump. It makes a 143 ft jump over some stuff. I’m not really sure why this is being quantified by number of items under

Under normal conditions the engine comes out the top. Why they thought that they could somehow squeeze this through the frame out the bottom with an indirect force baffles me. I would imagine that if the same force were applied in pulling the engine from the front or above that they might have had success.

Update: Pool Patrol Patrick lost his job at Sonoco

Because if you are going to have to drive somewhere, there is highly likely a gas station on the way? That seems like a pretty damn good reason.

Why does the explorer explode in one shot and then only has flames shooting out of the cab in the jump shot that shows everything?

My La-Z-Boy recliner i expect arm rests. My sports car, not so much. If you’re looking for arm rests you should have bought that sweet Caravan instead.

I was asking the same thing until I read the comments. It’s just a filler article from a 2/2018 Kotaku post.

You can get AAA coverage for motorcycles. It’s a little bit more, but it gives you the coverage you would need if you ride a a lot.

While you didn’t go into the roadside issues you have had, it sounds like you had a lot of calls to AAA. When you have excessive roadside calls, AAA will typically look at you more closely. If they determine that you are a drain on the system, they will not renew you. It’s sad but it happens.

LOL, GM has a great track record of making sure their products are safe before they sell them. At least the Bolt’s won’t suffer from “poorly designed, swept under the rug and ignored ignition switch syndrome”

I like how the author says:

I took Nasty Woodland Creature’s reply to be a roundabout way of saying to TheGCU “Read the article idiot”. I probably wouldn’t take well to a comment like that either. Is it really a comment though? He didn’t actually make a comment, he only quoted the article. It comes across as passive aggressive and Nasty probably

Seems like a lot of trouble to go through when you are just going to strain the wine in the end. Why not just destroy the cork and strain? No broken glass fragments, no potential burns, no major production.

It looks like it has a key inside the fob like most remotes. See the little silver rectangle near the base of the remote right above the key ring loop? That is likely the release for the physical key inside the fob.
