VSV is Toyota lingo for Vacuum Switching Valve. It is part of the EVAP system. Just a couple VSVs in the EVAP system on that Lexus.

The reality is that you should be replacing your tires BEFORE you get to 2/32" of tread depth. You lose a fair amount of water shedding under 4/32". I replace my tires at 3-4/32" to keep good traction and water evacuation.

Industry standard is 5 years old. Anything 5 years old or more needs to be scrutinized regularly according to Michelin. Depending on the conditions the tires are put through it could mean a tire is aged out before 5 years or could last longer.

This is why I like my little fleet of vehicles. If I want Comfort mode I just drive the ‘84 380sl. If I want Sport mode I just hop in the ‘86 MR2. Otherwise it’s Standard mode in the ‘00 SL2 and Rough mode in the ‘92 Ranger XLT. There’s also Good Luck Stopping mode in the ‘68 Jeep CJ5 (mines a Kaiser if David asks).
